McKinlee goes to the Zoo!

A couple weeks ago we took McKinlee to the Hogle Zoo. It was SO much fun! She jabbered the entire time and proceeded to talk to the animals.....
I love when she scrunches her nose!

One hundred dollars says you can't guess what this elephant's name is??

I didn't drive to the zoo to see myself!! j/k. We all had a really good laugh about this! Kendrick's family has a joke about Nic going the the zoo and them not letting him out because he fits in so well, but it was easily reverted over to me this time!!

Look at how long this tongue is!!! I can't believe it!! Kinlee kept staring at the giraffe as he was eating and we couldn't pull her away. Things like that make me wonder what she is thinking!

McKinlee LOVES to be thrown into the air as HIGH as you can throw her... and she always just laughs and laughs and laughs...

Something that McKinlee has started to do is wear shoes... it's been a hard adjustment for her because she walks so well without them. This is her playing with her shoes at the zoo.

We went to see the monkeys and we were very disappointed with the result. This is wthe closest thing we found...

Uncle Nic! j/k We always tease him about being a crazy monkey. I thought he would laugh at this :) BUT of all the people who measured up to being an ape, Nic was definitely the closest.

Ohhhhh!!! These next pictures are so FUNNY! I took McKinlee on this ride. She kept trying to turn her feet around and I couldn't understand what she was trying to do. So I kept putting her back and she was getting frustrated... finally I let her do her thing. She just wanted to ride backward! After I let her, you can see she was having a JOLLY time! She has her tongue hanging out the entire time afterward.

This squirrel SOOOOOoo had A.D.D.!! It was going like 50 thousand miles a minute and was tons of fun to watch. McKinlee laughed. Probably because it reminded her of 7 (our dog)

We ended up going to "This is the Place" Monument afterward since it was right above Hogle Zoo. They say it's HAUNTED and that's why we went. I had to go to the bathroom, which is in their basement. I never really have cared about stories like this before, but while I was washing my hands... the water shut off! I didn't think anything of it until I was walking out. I went back to the sink and turned it on again, and realized that it's not automatic. Ghosts? Who knows!

Here are some fun pictures. It was really pretty up there.

Again, McKinlee loves to be thrown in the air!
That's all for now!
