SKIING!!!

Wow. This was the first time I had EVER gone, and I'm SO going again. I only flipped upside down one time (I was going too fast and needed to stop) but I found a REALLY fun way to ski.. on accident! I was trying to get up and I knew nothing about skiing. So I had my skis facing downhill and sort of grabbed the back of them like I was crab-walking. I started going down the hill and I couldn't stop because I couldn't wedge my skis and I couldn't let go! The only choice I had was to biff it. MAN it was so funny... people were laughing so HARD! Here's a picture of Kendrick, me and Dennis (Denise, my ski-addicted sister) I have to admit that my feet and hands were numb, but I couldn't quit!

McKinlee's First Words

McKinlee said her first word yesterday morning, very plain and clear looking at Kendrick just before she head-butted him. Her first word was dad! Just to give you a little update on our Slobber Monster as Kendrick calls her... She's doing awesome! She cruises like crazy in her walker and loves it... It's her new thing is to run as fast as she can and then whack into the wall or table or whatever is available to her... oh yeah she has a thing for bashing into garbage cans too. Our house is perfect for her since the entire upstairs only has one room with carpet... she can get all the concussions she wants! Here are some fun pictures of her in her walker.


Kendrick was putting up the Christmas tree and heard a whoosh and a pretty loud slam. He turned around to see that McKinlee had charged at the tree and smashed half of it into the wall. Here she is playing with the lights that he was hanging afterward...

Our Slobber Monster

So last night, McKinlee did the same thing she's starting to do EVERY night... she pooped in the tub. So Kendrick and I pulled her out and laid her on the counter and started to feed her rice cereal (we usually do it in the tub because it's fun for her to make a mess....) Anyway, Kendrick put a HUGE bite of rice cereal in her mouth... and she sneezed. Here's the aftermath! Gotta love it!




I also did Paige's hair yesterday for her concert. I wish I would have brought my camera to the concert because I also saw Chloe and Morgan Harris, Lindsey Swenson, Pam DePaz, Angell and Jewell Smith, and Paige! They all did a great job playing. The Super stars also showed up: Katie and Jake Price (Katie teaches Paige violin lessons) Cody and Mike Harris and Nikki and Jason.. and the Smith Family! So it ended up being a really fun night, and the SF 17th ward dominated the general population *laughs* It was like a 20 minute concert.. and McKinlee even paid attention! Good job you girlies that played!
